Application Information for Fellows Starting in July 2011
Clinical Track
For the Clinical Track Program, the UCLA GI Fellowship Program is a part of the Electronic Residency Application Service and the National Resident Matching Program. Use the
ERAS Application to apply for this track.
The deadline for applications is December 1st, 2009.
In addition to the ERAS Common Application Form, we require the following materials to be submitted through ERAS:
* Medical School Transcript
* USMLE Score Sheets
* Personal Statement. Please be specific regarding future career plans.
* Three Letters of Recommendation (minimum).
Note: Standard Dean's letters of progress in courses are not considered letters of recommendation.
All application materials must be sent through ERAS. No paper applications or supporting materials for clinical applicants sent directly to the UCLA GI Fellowship Program will be accepted.
Research Track - STAR Program
Applicants interested in the research track must apply through ERAS, as with the clinical track. However, applicants interested in a research career should also apply, in advance of the interviews, to the UCLA Specialty Training Advanced Research (STAR) program.
